The programming school Kids Coder Lab and the swim school Academy of Hasten have joined their forces and created an exciting winter day camp program in Wilanów. Loads of activities and zero boredom! The program includes: swimming, sport activities, programming, language and music classes, and a trip to the Central House of Technology.
An intensive 5-day swimming course will allow beginner children to get used to the water and acquire basic swimming skills, and those more advanced will polish swimming techniques under the guidance of experienced staff. Classes are tailored to the skills of children. More about the Academy of Hasten swimming school.
We focus on motor skills that contribute to children’s physical development. The winter day camp activities are based on games with a bit of friendly rivalry and exercises from crossfit, yoga and other sports disciplines.
Programming classes are divided into two modules. In the offline module children work, off-screen, with a coding mat and learn to program the Ozobot robot. They also play board games designed to learn programming and perform programming tasks on work sheets.
In the screen module children try their hand in many areas related to programming – block and text programming, creating animations and solving complex logical and programming puzzles.
Classes are adapted to the age and capabilities of participants. When enrolling a child in our winter day camp, we ask parents to provide us with information about the child’s previous experience in programming. This allows us to offer individually tailored activities and develop children’s passions. Winter day camp programming classes provide a solid foundation for future programming courses, determine your child’s level and allow you to choose the right programming course in the future.
The time spent in front of the computer screen does not exceed one hour per day.

Language and music classes are a unique offer from the Just Sounds language school. The school teaches English by playing music, dancing and singing together. During classes, children learn new vocabulary and grammar through games and fun activities. The school teaches original songs that always harmonize with the main topics in class. Children also learn about other cultures in which English plays an important role. There are also dances from various regions of the world. School teachers from different countries enrich language classes with their experience and interesting personality. More information about the Just Sounds school.
The Central House of Technology is a new place in Warsaw which has opened in August 2019. It is a space dedicated to education in the area of technology and a unique attraction for all technology enthusiasts. Our winter day camp participants will not only visit the center, but will also take part in the workshops “Coded world of nature”. These workshops broaden children’s knowledge in the field of biology, ecology and programming. Children look at a selected problem related to environmental protection and look for adequate solutions. The workshops develop risk awareness and competences of the future, such as creativity, cooperation with others and comprehensive problem solving.
The winter day camp takes place at the Polish-French school La Fontaine at ul. Wandy Rutkiewicz 2. There children gather every morning and in the afternoon they are picked up by their guardians. Swimming lessons take place at the swimming pool located at ul. Gubinowska 28/30. Both facilities are only 140 m apart, a distance that children cover on foot in a few minutes.
Transfer to the Central House of Technology is by a bus from a company specializing in safe transport of children and youth.
The above day plan is a framework plan and may be modified for organizational reasons. On the day of the trip to the Central House of Technology, children have swimming classes, and the trip takes place instead of other activities planned for that day.
