Course description
Kids Coder Designer introduces students to the basics of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, graphics and webpage design. The course emphasises creativity, problem-solving and project-based learning. At the end of the course, students are able to write both text-based and block based programs.
Course outcomes
Students:
- learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, focusing on creativity
- learn the processes of viewing web pages on the Internet
- create several simple web pages including their own website
- learn to programme, while focusing on solving problems using code
- learn to programme by drawing shapes on the screen with Turtle Graphics
